MSTQ is an experience design agency hired by Dais to design and pitch them an app for improving the logistics industry. Fleet owners face three main challenges: idle drivers without routes, too many routes without enough drivers, and one-way routes with empty return trips. They need a better way to manage inventory to maximize driver utilization, increase job capacity, and eliminate empty runs.
My role I was the lead UI designer for the project. I acted as a UX designer for part of the app experience. The Hype video was a team effort where I worked with a copy writer and animator to create a captivating video that explains the app efficiently.
Fleet owners face a major challenge today: they cannot optimize drivers' routes according to specific requirements. We solved this by giving dispatchers the ability to help drivers find optimal routes for their cargo loads.
Freight companies lose massive amounts of revenue due to deadweight routes and not knowing which drivers are best suited for specific jobs. We are enabling dispatchers to match the right drivers with the right jobs.
When there is excess fleet capacity, drivers won't remain idle for long periods. Instead, dispatchers can now list available drivers to maximize the fleet's resources.
Quick job creation is crucial, as many assignments arrive with little notice and require immediate action. When demand exceeds capacity, dispatchers can now outsource work to qualified drivers.
In this comprehensive video, I demonstrate the full capabilities of the app from both administrative and driver perspectives. I spearheaded the storyboard development and directed all visual design elements to create the narrative.
My manager and I presented the application to client. They bought the application and hired MSTQ for additional projects.
